History :
Plexis Software began as a commercial enterprise in 1987 by releasing several software products
that focused on American Retail Businesses. Our first publically available commercial product was deployed
in an upscale Bicycle and Sports Shop utilizing multiple checkout stations and a back office accounting
environment.
Our next iterations included Wholesale Distribution Enterprise software by winning a contract to
supply a Medium sized chain of 20 Plumbing, Heating and Air-conditioning distribution centers.
In 1995 recognizing that Microsoft Windows was the best operating system for the future we began migrating
our DOS based applications to the Windows platform.
By the end 1996 we began retiring all of our DOS based applications in favor of Windows. As Windows progressed
in reliability and features we were able to successfully deploy thousands of Point of Sale and Supporting
applications world wide.
Current :
Leveraging our experience and skill sets the product line became more focused exclusively on the Point of Sale
industry. The need for reliable and low cost solutions for smaller retailers and small restaurant enterprises
we developed Plexis POS. Constantly working on improvements and industry requirements Plexis POS remains as one
of the best selling and highly reliable low cost business software products in America.
We put a tremendous amount of time and resources into our product line and Support Services. Our customers
are provided with multiple avenues of pricing and support plans to keep their most important technology
tool operating flawlessly. If you need us we will be there for you with US based Sales and
Support Staff.
The Future :
The technology industry continuously changes and evolves with newer computing devices, operating systems and
customer needs. Plexis Software Systems is constantly evolving as well. We evaluate what our current and
future customers require to run their business efficiently and reliably and move in those directions with new
product releases and innovations for our existing product line.
