PREVIOUSLY ACTIVATED SOFTWARE SHOWS DEMO OR NOT ACTIVATED


MULTI-STATION VERSION:
Check the following conditions:
1. The Plexis POS Multi-Station License Server is running and active (by the system clock).
2. The Plexis POS Multi-Station License Server icon is in the Windows Startup Folder.

Possible Corrective Action:
A. Launch the Plexis POS, log into any terminal ID. This will start the Plexis POS License Server
B. Launch the Plexis POS Multi-Station License Server in the Windows Startup Folder.
C. Once you have corrected the issues above Exit each Plexis POS terminal out to Windows
D. Log back in to your Plexis POS Terminal ID.
E. Do not Log Out the Windows User on the Server or Main Computer.


* Properly configure Windows on your Server or Main Computer to Run the Plexis POS License Server in your Windows Startup Folder.
LICENSE SERVER AUTOSTART:
(msconfig settings)
Network versions place the Plexis POS License Server icon in the Windows Start Up Folder on the Primary Computer or server. If you do not have AutoStart enabled in Windows run MSCONFIG and change the settings as depicted in the image below.

SINGLE STATION VERSION:
Possible Corrective Action:
A. Log into the Windows User that Plexis POS was originally activated under.
B. Do not Log Off the Windows User on the Computer.
C. Try restarting the computer and log into the Windows User that Plexis POS was originally activated under.
Other Possible Causes for Lost Activation Keys:
1. Windows Security or Operating System preventing Plexis POS from operating properly.
2. Anti-Virus or Firewall blocking Plexis POS from operating properly.
3. You have replaced the hard drive in your computer.
4. You have reloaded or Upgraded Windows on your computer.
5. Your computer is lost, stolen, damaged or has failed.
